Does This Seem Right To You?

I was thinking of buying a really popular eliquid recently. I always keep my eliquids out of reach from my kids, but I just couldn't bring myself to buy this particular eliquid because of the packaging and the thought that it just looked too much like something kids would mistake for candy. Anyway this is the eliquid:

I hate all the media reports that say eliquid flavours are attracting kids when vendors never sell to under 18s, but I think packaging like this isn't helping either.

How Quick Do You Go Through Eliquid?

Compared to smoking, how much do you go through eliquid?

For example if you smoked 10 a day (Like me) would you then go through 10ML a week (Per 7 days)

Or do you go through more?

Thick Dark Eliquids

I have a bunch of eliquids that have gone much too thick and dark. The only thing I can think of is to maybe buy some pure PG to thin them out.

I estimate maybe I should get 2 120ml bottles of PG. Does anyone sell small amounts of PG like that?

The question might be moot at any minute, but it would be stupid of me to waste all the open eliquid bottles I have at a time like this.

Is there anything else I can do that might help? I keep wasting coils prematurely when I try vaping any of these.

My eliquids are stored in a bag in the bottom of the "smoking cart" so they aren't really in the sun very much. TIA

Vaping Deaths/dank Vapes/odd Timing

I don't believe that the sudden rash of vaping illnesses and deaths was random. The timing and short duration of the outbreak has a pattern. Vaping has been around for a long time - more than a decade. The recent tragedies-with the media and government hype, has been used as a weapon against vaping. The outbreak was very short, but hurt a lot of young people. Not one long term smoker turned vaper was affected. And almost all who were sickened were young and admitted to using eliquid from black market cartridges with THC from Dank Vapes to try to get high. But the media didn't release that important fact for months. Meanwhile, they and the government - including the CDC - actively warned against all vaping, and have implemented more laws against vaping.

I find it odd that after finally getting to the common denominator of the cause of the deaths and illnesses, the government and media still has not identified who owns Dank, and how that company managed to distribute for only a few months the deadly THC eliquid vape that harmed so many people in such a short amount of time? And Dank was the only company identified? Then it suddenly stopped? And it was national news? If this was a systemic epidemic in the vaping industry, then all distributors would be front and center. But it was only Dank. Out of the hundreds of eliquid vendors, it was just one?

I'm pretty good at tracking down owners of corporations and businesses, but I've had no success in identifying the owners of the one supplier mentioned. And if there were multiple suppliers of the deadly THC vape liquid, it would be published.

Best Salt Nic Brands (uk)

Hey all, I’m looking to find some more good salt nicotine eliquids to vape on. I’m currently using the Think Vape Zeta AIO with the RBA for MTL. The salt nicotine eliquids I currently use are Ultimate Salts, Viking Vapes eliquid and TRASH candy salts at 10-20mg nic strength in 10ml bottles. I was wondering if there are any other brands to look out for here in the UK. I can’t get hold of any US salt nicotine eliquids cause of our TPD so I can’t get my hands on 30ml bottles that are 20mg+

What Do They Put In Eliquid To Give The Flavours?

I know they put PG or VG juice in along with nicotine...

But what do they put in to give the cinnamon flavour or whatever flavour you have chosen?

Do You Have A Buying Pattern?

I'm definitely OCD, but to stretch my bucks, through the years, I developed a buying pattern.

Every month: eliquid and spare heads
Every three months: mod, battery, driptips, enhancements
Every six months: new atty or replacements for the ones I have.

So far it works ok and I don't overspend. Any patterns on your side of the fence?

I Have To Stop Reading The News

Friends,
I really have to stop reading the news.
Every single day there is a new article bashing and smearing vaping as a viable, healthy alternative to smoking the 'stink sticks' (I coined that yesterday, patent pending).
Anyway, it absolutely infuriates me when I read these one-sided articles that is backed by little to no research. Not to mention that these articles are most likely written with some sort of bias. Whether it be BT, BP or the numerous anti-smoking groups, very seldom do they actually ask anyone who knows anything about vaping and the initiative of the hobby/lifestyle and they sure don't interview actual vapers or want to hear the numerous stories of how vaping has saved so many lives.
They say they don't want to 'normalize or glamorize' smoking because it will make it more attractive to kids.
Well, you know what? The more you tell kids NOT to do something, the more they WILL do it. I know, I have 2 of them.
As a former smoker and now around 6 months smoke free, I detest smoking cigarettes. But having said that, I would rather see a kid puffing on a vape than on a Stink Stick.
So, yes, I can see the need for regulations, but the vaping industry does a good job with self-regulation and reputable businesses do not sell to minors.
But, kids will be kids and they will find a way to get their hands on cigarettes just like they do with alcohol.
Let's discuss and vape on!

Kids Should Not Vape But Flavor Ban Will Not Stop Them, They'll Refill Cartridges

Flavor ban on flavored cartridges will do kids more harm than good. If a minor wants to vape, smoke cigs, drink, or other things that are against the law and harmful for them no one can stop them except the parents.

What's going to happen is kids will buy blackmarket refilled cartridges or refill their own. I've never used a Juul but it took me 1 minutes on youtube to find out how to refill a empty Juul cartridge.

Most cartridges can be refilled so banning them is really a joke

This ban will only push kids to worse things, that's sad.

The only reason the Feds/state/local government haVE been after vaping is "LOSS OF TAX REVENUE FROM SMOKERS QUITTING". If vaping was taxes as heavy as smoking the Gov. could care less about vape banning.

Question About Adding Nicotine To Pre Made Juice.

Since I do all my vaping shopping online and will soon not be able to get eliquid containing nicotine by mail in the US, can one buy liquid nicotine now, store it and add it to pre made liquid? I know that I would have to probably use one of the apps out there to figure out how much to add to 30 or 60 mg of liquid to obtain a 3 mg amount. I don't even know if this is possible. I don't want to go the route of making my own since I have certain flavors I like from a couple of vendors and can probably not match these flavors doing it myself.
I have been vaping for 6 years now and am afraid that I will be forced back to smoking cigarettes when I run out of my current supply.

What If It’s More Misleading Than We Thought?

i was reading Another seemingly misleading article and something occurred to me tertiarily.

This dead kids thing isn’t just the biggest e-cigarette problem of the moment, it’s ALSO the biggest legalized cannabis problem of the moment as well. People are dying because they’re buying fake drugs they think are from legal sources.

What if this whole thing is an attempt to shift blame FROM legal cannabis TO e-cigarettes? Are all of the fast moving politicians from states that recently legalized? BT would have a big thing to gain because they kill two birds. They’re heavily heavily invested in legalized cannibis AND they hate ecigs.

Just a thought. Might be worthless. Thought I’d throw it out there though. Maul away. I’m interested to see what’s wrong with it.
