What Is The Next Trend After Wattage, Battery Capacity N Temp Control?

Forgive me as I am not on here nor plugged into the community 1/10 as I use to be but what do you all think or what is happening now in terms of the next trend either in mods or attys? What is your opinions ? What is happening as we speak?

The last 3 trends in IMO that are still being worked on to some extent I list below but as every industry changes what will be the new trends after these? :
1 wattage/power- 1 million watts
2 battery capacity (all day vape)
3. Perhaps the most important safety wise is temperature regulation of the atty

Any Suggestions For High-wattage Internal Battery Box Mods?

I'm looking for internal battery box mods that has wattage option higher than 50 Watts. So far I've found Smok Xpro M80 Plus, which is an internal battery box mod with 80 Watts power at a great price. ($55) Is there any other internal battery box mods? MVP and Istick serieses are of course excluded here.

Temp Controlled Mods

So I'm looking into buying a temp controlled mod for my next purchase. Ideally, I would be getting the VaporFlask with the DNA40 board. Problem is, I dont have $300 usd to drop on it. Sooo....

I was thinking about the FT clone, and was about 3 clicks away from making the purchase when a friend tells me about the IPV4 pre-order over on the bay. The DNA40 has temp control and goes up to 40 watts (duh) but from what I have read, the IPV4 also has temp control and goes up to 100 watts. I'll never use all 100 watts BUT sometimes will vape above 40 watts. I like that both are dual 18650 and have the temp control function (I'm dying to play with some nickel wire) I'd really like some opinions

Any thoughts on the VaporFlask clones from FT? Would it be worth it for me to wait for the IPV4?

Cheers ECF!

Why So Little Love For Side By Sides?

Over the last 24 month or so, mods became bigger and bigger due to increasing sizes of batteries and comically large tank attys. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the fact that I only need to change the battery and fill the tank once per day, that's awesome, however, some of those devices got to a point where they became not very portable anymore... Gone is the time in which the mod can be put in the pockets of your pants.
So, as far as I'm concerned, I got realy tired of those huge mods and went back to one of my first mods, no VV no VW no temperature control.... Its the REO mini..... Super small and tough as nails.
After a while I kept looking for something comparable but a non squonker mod. I found the Ministick with the 18650 extension.
I have it now for a few weeks and I'm sooooo happy with it.
It's just a tad larger than the REO mini but it carries the 18650 battery and the Kayfun V4. This mod would be quite a bit smaller than the REO mini if I take the battery extension off, which is very impressive.
I will very likely never buy another regular tube or box mod just due to its size.
I see only pros for side by sides, they are the perfect combination between small size and good battery/tank capacity, so I'm naturally wondering why they are so little loved?
What is your point of view?

Is My Battery Calculation Correct? + Questions

Hello—am I calculating correctly? I now have a Jackaroo mod that takes a 21700 so I ordered the Molicel 21700 P42A. Someone on the forum helped me out once before and here is the calculation I used. I figured in at 30 watts –I am usually between 23 and 30 watts

30 watts/3.2 battery cut-off voltage/.9 - 90% efficiency = 10.4 Amps
(30)(3.2)(.9) ---max wattage to be used is 86.4

What about my 2 battery mod --is that calculation for each battery. For example, I ordered a Geekvape Aegis X that takes 2 batteries so If I had that same calculation would my wattage be 86.4 per battery?

Safety Concern About A Video From A Famous Youtuber

I just got done watching a video from Twisted420 who is supposed to be a reputable vape personality.

The video was a review of the 200w Snow Wolf mod box with temperature control. In the video, Twisted420 was vaping it at ~574 F degrees not to mention when he maxed the temp out at ~662 F. Basically boasting about it being the most powerful temp control mod on the market.

From my understanding, Glycerol (VG) decomposes into acrolein at ~535 F (~280 C). Acrolein is an aldehyde that is a decomposition product of glycerol. Acrolien is one of the main connections between cigarettes and lung cancer.

Anybody buying this for high wattage temp control should be aware of this. For even your biggest cloud producing kanthal builds don't heat as high as twisted420 was vaping. So far the people I see using this device in my vape groups are vaping at these very high temps.

Test Your Safety Knowledge!

Due to a recent rash of vapers using mech mods without proper knowledge. here is a simple test for vapers who want to use unregulated devices, if you can confidently answer these questions, you just may be ready to take the plunge to a mech or unregulated box mod. If you cannot answer all of the questions, don't be discouraged, use the test as a base for the knowledge you may need to acquire.

1. Define ohms law using a short paragraph, and show the equation below.

2. Define watts law using a short paragraph, and show the equation below

3. Draw a simple open circuit.

4. Draw a simple closed circuit

5. Find the resistance of a circuit running at 3.9 volts with a 20 amp current

6. Find the voltage of a circuit running at .54 ohms with a 5 amp current.

7. Find the wattage of a 4.1 volt circuit at 2.3 ohms

8. You are wrapping a dual coil set up, while pinching your coil with metal tweezers you accidentally press the fire button,
the leg of the coil you are wrapping fires bright and then disintegrates, why has this happened?

9. Your mechanical mod is getting extremely hot, is making odd noises, and has an odd smell, what is happening
and what is the procedure in this situation?

10. What is the lowest safe resistance of a 4.2v lithium ion battery rated at 20 amps?

11. You have been using a battery for several hours now, and have noticed a sharp decline in vapor production,
why is this happening?

12. You wrap a coil that reads .42 ohms on your multimeter, what important factor should be remembered while using this coil?

13. You are using 2 stacked 18350 lithium ion batteries in your mod, what kind of circuit is this? what changes because of this?
what does not change?

Getting New Hardware This Week...don't Know What To Go With. Halp!

So I currently have an ipv mini that goes to 30 watts, a couple mech mods I never use anymore, and a Hana knockoff (didn't know, or wouldn't have bought. Got it back when I was a clueless noob).

I am insanely jealous of, and constantly use, my friend's Sig 150watt. What I like about it is just that, the wattage. I love vaping at 65-70 watts. Sometimes higher. So I know m just for the sake of saving money later, I want something that gets AT LEAST 100 watts.

But now these tempature regulated mods have hit the market and I have heard wonderful things about the flavor. But is there any that go above 100 watts worth knowing about?

So now I don't know if I should get the Sig 150, the ipv 3...or go down in wattage some but get tempature control. Any suggestions, help, and wisdom is greatly appreciated.

Cloupor, Vamo, Or What?

I have spent nothing on vaping in the last 7 months but now I am thinking about buyin a spare to spare for my Vamo 5 (to keep one at home and one at work). I am very satisfied with my Vamo – it worked perfectly for 8 months. I use it with 18360 battery, so it is not too long, fits perfectly in hand and after continuous use for 8 months it is still as good as a new one. But I do know it will go bad sooner or later, I have to be prepared. I was thinking about buying just another Vamo (may be Vamo 7), but then wondered if I would like to try a box mod. What if I would like it? And if not, I do need one more spare anyway.

So far I am thinking about Cloupor Mini 30W.
Authentic Cloupor Mini 30W Variable Wattage / Voltage VW VV APV Box Mod

Would you recommend it? Is it comfortable enough? Is it too small (to fit in hand)? Comfort and reasonable longevity are the most important thing for me. For example, I have found in Cloupor description “Magnet back cover, no need to use screwdriver, more”. It is very important for me; I could not imagine myself walking around with a screwdriver in case I have to replace a battery. What other mods (if any) should I consider? I do not need more than 30W, please do not advise me on more powerful mods unless they have some extremely useful features beyond their power. And I do not want to spend more money than necessary for a spare.

But maybe I will be still buying a new Vamo 7. Do somebody have hands on experience with this one?

Is A Low Wattage Bad For My Vape ?

Hello everyone, i bought a new vape 24H ago because my first one was terrible.
And when i use the recommended wattage for my resistance. The tast in my throat is pretty agressive.
Recommended : 40-60 Watts
Using : 26-30 Watts
So i wonder if using a too lower wattage can be bad for my resistance;vape itself.

Also i want to know if i use if i puff aproxymatly 0.5s is bad and i should make it more long.

Thanks (I don't know if its a duplicate, sorry if yes.)
