How Often Should I Charge My Battery?

I have a variable voltage/wattage battery and I have heard that some say charge it as often as you can this reduces stress, others say that's bad, some say a combination of long and short cycles but I don't know which is best. My battery's manual said get down to 10% but it doesn't measure it accurately (but I love these batteries so I don't want to change but they are expensive so I want to prolong their life span as long as possible even if that does mean charging them very often.) I do have two so charging often isn't an inconvenience for me if that's what I am supposed to do.

What Charger Is Best For My Apollo Valiant Vv & Vw 1300ma?

It's quite expensive and I can charge it with a better charger that will prolong it's usability then I'm all for it. It doesn't matter how long it takes to charge, because I have others I can use while it gets charged. The manual says not to use chargers that didn't come with it but I want to find a way to improve their lifespan anyways because their lifespans are short & they're very expensive.

Apollo Valiant VV & VW 1300mah Battery is my battery's link. If there are any better batteries that are better I may be interested in upgrading, I strongly prefer the stick kind like this, but if they are super awesome they don't have to be but I don't like the idea of having to build a battery myself.

Charging And Real Battery Life In Mods

Hey everybody. Love this forum. I've got a question. I've got an MVP2, MVP3 and iStick 50. Long question short, do you think it's better for the life of these batteries (since I can't replace them) to run them all the way down, THEN charge them or just charge them every night until I wake up regardless of the life in them unless they are full? And, how long would any of you estimate these mods will last until they completely die? I mean using them every day. Chain vaping. 6 months? A year? I ask because I really thought about getting a Sigelei and it's too late now, but I would like to now for future reference.

Charging An Ipv Mini

Can I use an external battery pack to charge an IPV Mini?

I have a 10,000mAh external battery to charge my cell phone (Note 4, with a 3500mAh battery), which has 2 options for charging: 1.5v=1A and 2.5v=2.1A.

Is it recommended? Is it safe? Are there any precautions I need to take if I use the battery pack?

I haven't gotten around to getting an extra 18650 battery (and charger) for the IPV Mini. I've finally realized that it takes maybe 2-3 hours to charge the battery via the USB cable. But the one battery doesn't quite last me all day, depending on how heavy I'm using the Mini.

I usually carry a Volcano Inferno once the Mini dies, but the Volcano really sucks in comparison to the Mini. I'd love to be able to charge the Mini while I'm out and about.

I've added a pic of the external battery for specific information.

Thanks for all your help.

Efest Luc V4 Charging

Will I get longer battery life if I charge my batteries at .5 amps vs. 2 amps? I feel like I'm getting less battery life by charging them so quickly. Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

When To Charge 21700 Battery?

Hi

I'm using Samsung 21700 T40 batteries.
Trying to figure out..
Is it best to charge a battery when it's discharged or nearly discharged?

I like to keep things simple with a routine of charging once a day, but then the battery will be set to charge even when there's 15-30% power left.

Is that bad for the battery?

Itaste Vv4 15w- How Long Should My Battery Last?

i have a new Itaste VV4 15 watt 1000mah
I don't seem to get as much time out of my battery as i expected- does anyone know about how long it should last?

I'm going to test it out to see exactly how much time i get out of a full charge but as of right now i just feel like it's not lasting as long as it should.

Also when I use it plugged up on a charging cord the battery still runs out till it eventually has no charge and turns off and cant be used till it adds up some charge on it- I thought since it was a pass through device i would still be able to continue to use it while being plugged up on the charger, so im not sure if I should actually be able to with this device and mine is not working correctly or thats just how this unit does work.

Calibrating Batteries And Battery Meters

A long time ago, talking to a friend who's an electronic engeneer, he advised me to do something and so far works beautifully. It's specially true of cellphones and integrated battery stuff, so you might as well do it to your iSticks and your Kindle as well.

When you receive a new device that has an integrated battery and charger, both have circuitry controlling the charge. The first week of use or so (in the case of the Kindle the first few weeks or months) do complete discharge (until it shuts down completely) and charge completely cycles. This calibrates the battery and the charger to make a more efficient use of the energy.

Just now I'm putting a new iStick 30 though its paces. First day lasted me about 6 hours. Second day almost 8. Yesterday a full 12 hours. Doesn't matter the voltage. Charge it completely and discharge it completely a few times. You'll see how performance increases dramatically.

Charging 21700 Battery At 2000 Mah

Hi
I just got a Xtar VC2s charger for my 21700 batteries (Samsung 40T).
Chose that charger also because it "charges at safe low current".

When it charges 2 batteries, it's at about 1000 mAh for each battery. All good.
But when charging only one battery, it charges it at 2000 mAh. Hmm?

I assume 2000 mAh is still "safe".. But won't that reduce lifespan on the battery?

The charger manual says "when the power supply is insufficient, the charger will reduce the charge current correspondingly".
So maybe I should get a usb power supply with like 1000 mAh output?

I will only be charging one battery at a time, and prefer charging slowly if that gives more safety and lifespan.

But I don't know if charging at 2000 mAh is really an issue..

Broken Mod

So i got a smok gpriv deluxe edition about 3 months ago. Its worked perfectly but then i let it sit unused for around 1 month. Now when trying to charge the batteries nothing works. Its not showing any signs of life. Im currently charging one battery in a smok grip but its still on 0 percent after 20 minutes of charging. Is it a battery issue? Or a mod issue

Will Lowering My Battery Voltage By 0.4 Volts Up Its Life?

I have a variable W/V battery and I prefer it on 4.2, but it is expensive and I never get the full 300 charges out of them like they claim they are supposed to get. Will decreasing the voltage by 0.4 Volts increase the battery life to a significant extent that makes it worth while?
