Going To Vape Bash?

I guess last years sucked so bad this years went unnoticed. I swore I wouldn't go but ocd might get the best of me. st. Charles is a real hike for me. I am older and semi disabled. it is hard to get there. maybe some one wants to just talk me out of it. or tell me if you are going. if pbusardo was there I guess I would go. I do want something but know it will be sold out again. I had all year to order from my chair anyways. funny thing was last two everyone was decades younger than me. is ecig like hipster stuff? I mean geezers puff too. I couldn't breath, everyone sold out if I could even get close. I hate to think I am too old. really though if I was like 35 id have no problem getting there anyways. so who's going?

What Are Vape Shop Owners Supposed To Do?

I opened up my vape shop a year ago, and since then I've made friends with other vape shop owners in the area. I'm in my early 30s, I worked two jobs for years to save up enough money to start a business. I also have loans. My friends in the business are in the same spot. Are we just supposed to file for bankruptcy and end up broke and homeless? I don't have anything at all to fall back on. And let me guess, nobody at all is going to reimburse us for completely losing our livelihoods. The kicker is, I've never sold to a minor, nor have I ever sold any tainted BS THC carts.

Im Back! 5 Years Ago I Was 1 Year Tobacco Free, I Ruined It.

I had quit, FINALLY, after 15 years of a pack or more a day smoking. What an accomplishment! Something i would be proud of for an entire year. The benefits I had seen were amazing! I could HIKE again, 3000ft elevation gain in 3 miles! Wow! Something i had not done since i was 13. Well, there I was... Camping with some friends.

I knew I should have brought my backups, I KNEW IT! All i had was two 18650's, my mini mech which took 1 and an RDA... It was only a matter of time before something went wrong. I did not bring the tools to rebuild the atomizer. I had no charger for my batteries- and we would be here for a week. What the hell was I thinking?

The trip was a blast, we did a TON of fishing, nights were spent with our group of party-goers by the campfire. We drank ALOT and we shared our stories.. In the back of my mind, i knew... I was going to be without nicotine at some point in this trip. WHY, Why did i not come prepared. Something SO IMPORTANT to me and i did not bring what i needed.

Then it happened. I was on my second battery- three days into the trip. The vape was becoming very weak, I was almost done. I fought hard to conserve, only vaping a puff or two every hour or so. I still needed SOME nicotine. It was about 8PM, time for another puff... Only.. Nothing. "OK" i said. "I can still do this, I dont need it". It had been an hour since my last puff and honestly, I did need it.

9 O'clock rolled around, we were hanging out around the fire drinking... everyone was smoking and I had nothing to occupy my hands. I was desperate. "I can go lay down, maybe if I go to sleep, wake up early and pack up- I can make it home and this will all be over". I laid down... Restless. The next thirty minutes felt like 10 hours, I did NEED it.

I will just go hang out some more, forget about it. I climbed out of the tent and rejoined the group around 10, seems like no one was tired. I knew i couldn't sleep. The alcohol was starting to loosen my grasp on priorities... Ok, just one drag, something to get me by. I looked at my buddy smoking and decided I would ask.. "hey man, let me hit your cig". Huge mistake! "Here, just have one" he said. Ok, what harm would a couple drags do? I lit the cig, inhaled deeply and noticed a few things.

The first drag was very weird. It tasted very bad, completely like chemicals. It was so satisfying though! I smoked that cigarette and enjoyed it, every moment. The campground we were at had a store that was open until 11, and guess what.. I needed nicotine. They sold cigs. The rest was history. I regretted that to this day. I had messed up, so bad. I had so much under my belt, so much accomplished- i was a loser that day.

Its been 5 years since then. My lungs have gotten so bad. I smoked 2 packs a day, marb 100's. I cough in my sleep and when i wake up. I vomit sometimes from how bad it is. Sometimes, i have a hard time breathing- something new and unfamiliar... I know why though. These past 6 months have been bad. It was time to make a change.

I proposed something to my wife; who does not smoke and never has. She loves sugar, if she could quit that... something i did 7 years ago... Then i would quit smoking. DEAL! She was onboard. Two weeks have passed, she has quit sweet creamer in her coffe, candy, chocolate, sweet tea, everything. She did it. Ok, My turn.

I went out tonight about 6 hours ago and bought a new vape. I have not smoked since i bought it! I can do this, I know I can! She is already proud of me, and I am too. Its time to quit once and for all, and I know i can do this... Here's to believing!

Chinese Retro Ecig Manufacturers That Sell Direct Retail?

Hi, all.

I already know about Trueman and BestEcig, but I was hoping some of you can let me know of other ecig manufacturers that sell retro gear like cigalikes (808, 801, 901, etc) and even eGo style batts, 11mm and 14mm, clearos, etc. These types of manufacturers usually sell the products they make unbranded - and therefore their prices are usually extremely low even though their are selling retail. I guess you can kinda call them "factory outlets".

I'm not interested in Alibaba, DHGate, etc sellers even if they are manufacturers. Has to be real manufacturers who have their own retail websites you can order from like the above mentioned companies.

Companies like Aspire, Kanger, iSmoka, etc don't count because they don't sell older stuff besides some small clearomizers.

Thanks.

The Invisible Vaping Community

With so many debates about public vaping raging here, I started to wonder how many people around us are stealthy vapers?

People who vape at home and in their cars, but not out in public.
People that vape with a stealthy setup indoors - around the corner, in the rest room.
People that go outside and vape with the smokers.
People that use small devices with less vapor.

It was common to see posts here about people never having seen another vaper out and about only a short time ago. Now that vaping is much more mainstream and available, I wonder how many people around us are stealth vapers, getting their nic fix right under our noses? Thousands of ego and evod setups are being sold every day, yet very rarely do I see another vaper, unless I'm in a vape shop.

My guess is that stealthy vapers make up more than 75% of all vapers. They just go unnoticed. They might be standing right next to you.

Is it just me, or is the new hardware I was going to pick up with my march vape budget all sold out? e.g. vaporshark rdna40, samsung batteries from illumination supply, and probably some other stuff I was looking to pick up.

Anyone else come across this?

5 Years

Two days ago was my 5 year quitting anniversary. With all the stuff going on I missed it.

Made it through 5 years just to see the whole thing fall apart.

Aren't We All A Bit Obsessed About Vaping?

(I know this doesn't apply to all of us, but for me it sure does.)

I mean.. look at us. Spending so much time here on the forum reading about tips and tricks, what's your vape? what is the juice you vape? etc etc. I haven't joined a forum for 15 years or so. The last time i was on a forum i was a 16 year old boy, trying to figure out life and the best way i knew how was being anonymous on the internet asking and pondering life's questions.. like "*** am i supposed to do here on planet earth?"

Nowadays i watch daily video's about vaping. From health concerns to indoor smokers, from conspiracy theories (tobacco companies) to Rip Trippers. Outside the digital life whenever i'm home i either vape, try new juices, building another coil, wicking and make my girlfriend try a new taste oh.. almost forgot the most expensive part, checking out webstores for... whatever i think might be missing from my collection

Don't get me wrong though, i love it. It's fun, it's interesting, it's a bit of a nerd thing i guess. Trying to find the perfect vape. It's like a drug (and i know drugs, i like them.. from time to time with moderation offcourse
nicotine is a drug, caffeine is a psycho active drug, alcohol and offcourse all the illegal ones. From xtc to heroine, one worse then the other)

But i find it very interesting that since i started vaping that i somehow had this need to find fellow vapers and talk about it. Haven't had that feeling for years, to be part of something.

I also never ever attended a demonstration for anything in my life, but today in a couple of hours from now i'll be in Utrecht vaping with other vapers against the ****ty little regulations the EU forces on us vapers. I do this for multiple reasons;

1) i truly hate that whoever says i cannot do/buy/use something *as long i'm not hurting or bother someone else with it*
2) it pisses me off that the elite, may it be a person or the bigger companies use unfair tactics to get whatever they want
3) to meet fellow vapers and talk about... vaping..

Anyway yesterday night in bed i thought this and was wondering how you guys/girls feel about it

It's Been Awhile. Wow! How Things Have Changed!

I guess it's been about 1 to 1 1/2 years since I've been in here. Life got busy for me.
I've been happy with the Vamo V2 and Aspire dual coil Davide setup I run. So I really wasn't chasing "the next new thing". But WOW how things have changed in a year and a half or so. Now everyone is using box mods with sub ohm factory coils, or twin stack coils.
Aspire seems to have made a name for themselves, and there seems to be a bunch of new suppliers getting in the ring. Along with the old reliable ones such as Kanger, it seems there is a whole lot of selections out there.
I feel like a newbe all over again.
I guess I'm just going to have to sit back, read a few threads, and do some catching up.
Y'all have fun!!

In The Year 2040

Any concept of how vaping will be viewed in the decades to come is purely speculative. But, some of us are stocked up to the point that, if we choose, we can continue vaping decades into the future...regardless of regulations.
If you're still vaping in 20-years, in spite of regulations which would inhibit vaping...how do you picture that scene? Are you a criminal, a pariah, a fool, a freak?
Would young folk appreciate your antiquated mods? Or pity you? In the year 2040.

Help With New E-cig

I have been using SmokelessImage 950mAH for 8 years and now they've closed. I ask your help in finding a similar one. The market has changed so much since then.

I liked this ecig (see image) because it had re-fillable cartridges. I liked the size and it was a passthrough. I don't care about a lot of vapor. I tried clear cartomizers but they use too much oil, too much vapor, too strong and coughed from them.

I like cartridges because they seem to soften the hit. The ones from Smokeless Image were half the price of the ones I've found since. They sold 5 for $5.95. Ones I've found are 5 for $9.95-$10.95. Are there other choices to filter besides cartridges and cartomizers?

Can you recommend an ecig that could replace? I need a passthrough system. Any suggestions about changing the system based on above would be appreciated. I am not an ecig fanatic by any means. I stopped smoking using them. Thanks!
