Luxyoun Mac 150 Watt??

So I was doing some research on what my next mod will be for my new sub ohm tank with its .25 ohm coil and my decision was originally between a Sigelei 150 and a Smaug 150w but then I went to Luxyoun's website and saw the Luxyoun Mac 150 Watt. I thought for sure I would have to go with a box mod to get over 100 watts, which I originally hated the idea of because I would much rather have a cylinder mod. I can't find almost any information on this device so its hard to decide whether to get it or not. I think cylinder mods look wayy better than box mods and are way easier to carry and feel better to hold so this might be the perfect mod for me. It uses one 26650 battery so there will be a long battery life and a high amp rating unlike a 18650 cylinder mod. I know it will be thicker than a 18650 cylinder mod but I'm fine with that over a box mod. Does anyone know of any cons about this mod? If you know anything about this device please post because I can't find a single review on it. Thanks!!

Mods A -z

So i was thinking of starting a thread which might list every mod past and present which would be compiled by you from one day to the next. At first i thought it wouldn't be practical because no one would know if a mod had been added unless they read through the entire thread.

Then i thought if a list from A though Z were compiled systematically by members by copying and pasting the most recent list in this thread, and then contributing to it, ensuring your entries are inserted alphabetically (Even if it's only one or two mods), then eventually this thread could contain pretty much every mod that exists, and would be updated regularly, by you !. No pictures please !. Only brief descriptions such as "company name / name of mod / type of mod".

What better place for such a list than ECF, "The world's largest e-cigarette website.

Here's my contribution to start it off :

________________________________________

it's a list of all the mods i own at this present time.

If you're going to add to the list then you can add any mods you can think off as long as you place those mods into the existing alphabetical order ( description should start with the company name). Batteries such as, say, vision twist aren't mods so lets not get into those. Tube mods and box mods (Includes internal/built in battery mods) only please (Squonkers included)

And lets not forget Mechanicals.

If you think a previous desciption is incorrect then correct it.

Ensuring company names come first in your description will enable a logical, consistant "alphabetical" understanding of the list by anyone who views it.

If you don't know the name of the company who made the mod just insert the name of the mod etc.

New Vaping Gear, Pretty Happy

I'm almost two years into vaping and it has been great.

I've been using a VW Ehuge 35 watt 26650 mod with a Kanger Subtank. Its huge and heavy but the battery lasts a long time. Also been using an Innokin Coolfire 2 with a Gladius tank.

Figured it was time to upgrade. Been watching several review videos to see whats out there. A lot of new sub ohm tanks and they all seem pretty good.

I've never had a box mod and figured it was time. Bought a Cloupor T6 recently to put my Subtank on. The T6 is supposed to be a 100 watt device. The Kanger coil only goes to 30 watts so no big deal there.

I really like the T6. Pretty small for a 26650 mod. Surface is slippery though, need to get a wrap for it. Butons are nice any clicky. The battery cover has magnets which is nice, no screw driver needed. Feels solid and the internals are clean. Its thick and the 25mm Subtank fits nicely on it.

Recently after watching some videos, I came across a new kinda unknown Sub Ohm Clearo. Its the Freemax Starre Sub Ohm. .5ohm or .25ohm coils. Mine came with the .5ohm. The .5ohm is rated 20-60 watts and the .25ohm is rated 20-100 watts. Reviewers were all impressed with the vapor and taste of this device. So I ordered one.

Wow, OMG, this Freemax Starre rocks. Blows away my Kanger Sub Tank in vapor production and flavor. Holds 5ml and the air holes are huge. Surgical Stainless Steel and Surgical Cotton used in the coil. Amazing.

After some more research, I discovered the Cloupor T6 really doesn't put out 100 watts. Well, that makes sense as its only a single battery device.

So went to the local vape shop today and bought a Sigelei 150 watt to put the Freemax Starre on. Will order some .25ohm coils soon.

Lovin the Sigelei so far. Magnets on battery cover, comes with a silicone gel case, nice clicky buttons, takes 2 18650. Its taller and wider than the T6 but not as thick. One thing it lacks that the T6 has is a USB charging port.

The Freemax Starre fits perfectly on it. The Kanger Sub Tank is wider than the Sigelei but fits perfect on the T6.

Really enjoying both of these box mods.

Time For A New Box Mod - But What To Get?

Alright, it's been a while since I've been on ECF, so I figured since I've got a reason to post - I will. My 150w box mod shorted out my batteries, and the firing button and + button broke so now they're loose and disconnected. I figured since the warranty is still valid I'd exchange it or get my money back. But note I will NOT order from fasttech or anything that'll have me waiting a month for my purchase to get here. My budget is $70/usd, so I know my options are a bit slim. But here's my average vape set up: usually under 50 watts, but I'd prefer at least 60 watts+ on my device (I'd be willing to go with a 30 watt, but it'd have to be amazing for me to consider it). Coils on my RDA were usually under 1.0ohm (.2ohms-.8ohms) I HATE built in batteries so something I could use my 18650's in would be ideal (preferably dual 18650 but I'm willing to compromise), mechanical box mods sketch me out so I'd rather not get one of those. I don't care about the brand, as long as it's reliable, fits my budget and most of my preferences. Now that you have a base, lay it on me. What do you think would be a good new mod for me? I'm willing to compromise, but not by much. Thanks guys, I appreciate any suggestions.

Mtl Tank Battery(18650)

Hey guyz,i am planning to buy a mtl setup and was wondering how to decide on good battery as i cant get a good explanation to the terms being used.i plan to vape around 15-25 watt and am looking for a 18650 battery that can last me well.i also saw people saying that sometimes its better to go for more amps than mah.So i was hoping someone can help me understamd as well as decide in some batteries

Right Battery For Tigon Tank

Hi.

I need some new batteries for my Aspire Tigon Tank. It has to be much like the Tigon battery.

Not big batteries and not small, cause i don't like heavey batteries, and it should give lots of vapour. It should be the cylinder shaped batteries.

Whats the watts on the Tigon? Is it 40? It should be the same.

And else should you notice? Do you also need to notice volt? Is does'nt need to be 1800 mah, but it should be high. Maybe least 1300.

And of course 510 connection.

Please name som models, that fit my description.

What about: Vision Spinner 2, Innokin Endura T18, Joyetech Ecxeed D19, Kangertech EVOD VV?

Stumped On A New Ecig Type

My mother in law just came home with a new Ecig. She is fairly old, yet insists, no matter how how many people tell her, that Cigarette sized ecigs are NOT economical in the long run. Don't even try to make suggestions, she's really stubborn.

Anyways, she's been off of Cigarettes for a while, and has been using an EGO/Stardust combination for almost 2 years. She said her battery wasn't holding a charge, and decided to pickup a new ecig. She bought something called a Mistic brand ecig...but it has a tank on the end of it. The whole unit is about the size of a normal cigalike. However, the end is a mini tank system. I tried it, and little vapor comes out of it.. which she says is fine. I will say, the products looks nice.

It seems it has a very small battery in it with a smaller than a mini protank II style general configuration for the atomizer. I doubt the thing holds a mil, and I doubt the battery is over 100MaH. The unit screws off the battery, and then the coil and wick unscrews out of the tank. It reveals a setup similar to a mini protank, where the chimney goes into the coil. The coil is TINY. I tried peeking down to see if I can see the coils, but I couldn't. I can't find any sort of specs about the product, type of connector (It's smaller than a 510), battery size/capacity, or even where to buy replacement coils. On the box, there is a website... MysticVapors.com is up for sale!!, but even that site is vague on anything about it and only sells the starter kits. Is there any information about the device anyone knows about? Its a cigalike size with a tank. Can replacement coils be bought? any gotcha's (besides incredibly low amount of vapor) A link to the exact item she bought is HERE. I feel she's just wasted money, but if I tell her that, she just gets all huffy.

Thank you in advance.

80 Watts Or 150 Watts?

The 65 watt M65 I got is defective. So I'm returning it and replacing it with a new mod. But I'm stuck between 2 mods. The Smoktech X-Pro M80, or the Vape Connexx 150. Both look great but I'll give you a quick run down on the pros and cons of both.

Smoktech M80

Pros - 4400 mAh built in battery, 80 watts max power, .2-3.0 ohms, pass through vaping, decent sized and stylish.
Cons - only 80 watts, built in battery, 4400 mAh.

Vape Connex

Pros - like the bulkyness of it, huge firing button, 180 day warranty, interchangable 18650, magnetic back, .1-3.0 ohms.
Cons - no pass through, never heard of the brand.

So should I stick with a brand I know? Or risk it and get a really powerful mod? Any input is appreciated. Thanks y'all.

18650 Battery At 13 Watts

Hello All,

Does anyone know which 18650 battery would last the longest when vaping at 13 watts? I have listed some below but any not listed recommendations are welcome as well.
(PS please don't respond with battery safety information or suggestions for me to look at mooch ratings)
Also, does anyone know if the vendors in the last 3 below links are reliable?

Thanks!

Mod Acts Up With Certain Batteries

Is there a logical reason why a mod would just randomly shut off very frequently when using one brand of battery and do it much less often with another? And this isn't a situation where I'm only referring to a single battery this is any battery of one type doesn't work well and any battery of the other type that I've tried does. * this is a long post if you don't want to read the whole thing you could just answer that question and that would provide me with a lot of information

My snowwolf mini mod which is the sigelei product not the original snowwolf is having a fairly common issue where occasionally the whole device just turns off. Then you have to loosen the battery cap pull the battery out so it's not making a connection and then put the battery back in and it turns back on. I've seen this reported multiple times. Now when I was using Samsung batteries it was really bad like I would get maybe two Puffs before it would shut off. But with LG batteries it seems like I can use the product almost like normal. Like I can get a good half day usage out of it before it has a problem and then I take the battery out put it back in and I get another few hours.

I know that there is a slight variance in size between these batteries or at least it seems like there is because my drip box gets the Samsungs stuck in it but not the LG which I solve by taking the stupid sticker off of them not the wrap the sticker.

Now I've only had this for 31 days so while it is past the stores warranty it's not past sigelei or snowwolf. I'm debating on whether or not I even want to worry about this warranty situation because if it continues working the way it is as long as I use LG batteries I would rather not take the chance of getting a much worse product. I feel like it's going to be hard to get them to warranty it and at the very least I have a month or two to figure this out.
My question is why would it do this why would it work so much better with one kind of battery and be nearly unusable with the other and also like why would it do this in the first place at all why would it just randomly shut off the batteries are good it's definitely the mod my first thought would be that there's a short but why would one battery cause a short and not the other or at least not as frequently?

I've had such bad luck with sigelei products that I honestly believe if I try to warranty this they're just going to send me a broken device LOL how does that work if they send me a broken device can I warranty that product? Do I get another 90 days? Or do I get the rest of my warranty period carried over from the first device? Or is it a situation where you only get one warranty and then if a device breaks again you're out of luck

New Setup Review

Well I did a quick search and couldn't find a review for the Sigelei 30watt mini and figured I'd make one now that I received mine. I have no clue how to post vids through my phone so I apologize for the primitive text review haha. So here we go my review of the Sigelei 30watt mini:

Includes:
Sigelei 30watt mini
Micro usb charger cable (located inside battery slot)

The 30watt box mod is yet another great mod from Sigelei. Standing a little over 3 inches tall and an inch deep it is definitely a stealthy little device. This device comes with the standards of all sigeleis. A fire button, 2 function buttons and a display screen. And of course it's loaded with the standard safety functions:
Low voltage protection
High voltage warning
Reverse polarity protection
Low resistance protection
Short circuit protection
It also includes 5 memory banks for quick wattage changes. Wattage range from 5-30 watts in .1 increments.
PWM mode and DC-DC mode. 5 click power on-power off. Voltage display and ohm display aswell. The device requires 1 18650 lithium ion battery which inserts to the back of the device via magnetic battery door, that's right! MAGNETIC! Now here are some pros and cons I've found for the mod.

Pros:
Clicky buttons, gotta love the click.

The magnetic battery door

Size, this thing feels great in hand and fits nicely in pocket with a Kanger subtank on it.

It's made of a nice solid aluminum alloy without any goofy etching or screws.(except for on the top and bottom)

Extremely easy interface. As this is my first box mod I found it nice and easy to navigate the modes and memory banks.

Most tanks and rdas sit nice and flush on the box. I'm using a 22 mm subtank mini and there is no over hang. And even with a 25 mm tank there isn't much at all.

Cons:
Now these aren't necessarily cons but just things I personally didn't find great.

It comes with a silicon sleeve, and I don't feel it necessary. And with it on the buttons become flush and harder to press.

Small screen. I am far sighted so having to squint all the time blows. You 20/20 people will have no problem though haha.

Doesn't include a battery. For something that is definitely targeting newer vapers, not hobbyists, I felt it probably should have had one with it.

The fact that it changes wattage at .1 increments is pointless honestly. I can't tell the difference between 15.3 watts and 16 watts, so what's the point?

For everything it does and everything the device comes with, it's definitely a good choice of beginners or seasoned vapers looking for another nice mod. Price varies from vendor to vendor but is pretty on point. I received mine from VapeHappy.com for 36 bucks. It also comes with a 3 month warranty from Sigelei.
I highly recommend this for just about anyone and give it a 8.5/10 due to the fact it doesn't come with a battery.

Again sorry for no video and no pics but I can't figure that crap out on my phone. I hope you enjoyed my review on the sigelei 30watt mini.
