What Is This?? Part 2.

Welp, the delightful journey of silly questions and equally silly answers in Part 1 of the "What IS this??" thread is now kabut, as the thread is klosed. So, here is a feeble attempt at Part 2.

(Part 1: What IS this??)

As in Part 1, please post your item in question, or the one with which you would like to stump the crowd, then WAIT until someone finally gets it.

Once someone DOES get it, they are the next to post their item. If they don't wish to post, they can just say "PASS" and then whomever wants to post can just go for it!

If too much time goes by and no one gets or states your item, please feel free to say what it is, then someone else can take their turn at the STUMP!

PM me if you have any questions on these (silly Katdarling) 'rules'.

DPL and I spent WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too much time diskussing/arguing/laughing about this partikular tank.

HE says it was from me, to him. I said NO, 'twas NOT!

Long story short, neither of us know WTH this thing is.

KAN YOU HELP US, PLEASE??? WE ARE DESPERADOS!

Please, don’t be fooled by the old folks in the title. The range of vaping experience and gear spans a wide gap. We’ve got folks content with basic setups using carto tanks and we’ve got folks using temp control mods and the latest RDA/RBAs.

So if you’re just starting out or your more experienced this is the place to be for us older folks. You got a question - we’ve got an answer or three. (And we good at spending other people’s money - so be forewarned). So pull up a rocker and make yourself at home.

And - oh, oh, oh - there’s no age limited or checking done here. Most of us can’t see good enough to read your legal id anyway. The only age criteria is that today your a day older than yesterday.

I going to ‘prime the porch’ with a few posts from the early days. It’s fun to look back just a few years and see not only where we where but were the state of vaping was w/ respect to equipment.

Atomizers... Your Nemesis

I needed an extra 510 drip tip for an atomizer (someone gave a used one with no tip) I had been sharing one from another tank (atomizer... tank is easier to type) so I dug through a box and remembered an old RTA I could steal the drip tip from. Then the memories flooded in... it was a UD Bellus someone gave me (with a warning... "she is evil") I was not put off by this (I like a good challenge) so tried several times to build "the evil one"... no success (it has an extremely small build deck, dual coils sharing the same post holes with tiny screws and no clearance between the coils and chamber) When it did work (briefly) it actually had decent vapor and flavor. I finally gave up... long story but short answer... this tank was my "nemesis" for sure. I even tried the single coil option (came with an adapter to block off one side) still no luck (wanted to throw it in the trash or better yet take a hammer to it) Anyway... what atomizers have you had that you consider your nemesis (evil, vile, stubborn, useless... feel free to use other terms)?
P.S. I know it's futile, but I'm going to try one more time with that "....." (I can hear her laughing at me as I type this)

The Fasttech Thread For All Fasttech Posts (part 2)

As the first FT thread will be closed as it has reached the 15k post limit I thought I would start a new one.

Tell us what you are buying, if it is good or bad value. Please pay special attention to the length of time every single order takes to arrive with you as I know you guys love to chat about that

My First International Vape Mail.

I just received my first order from the US. They only ship via USPS so I had no choice of carrier. I ordered the Big Dripper V2 from Grand Vapor Station. It cost $65 and shipping was $35. USPS ships here and passed over to Phlippine Post which passes thru the greedy customs guys here. They opened the package and they insisted that it was some kind of turbo add on for a race car and taxed me 6000 pesos, that is about $136. More than what I paid for my atty and shipping combined. That is 15% of what they think the value of the item is. I really tried to argue and explain to them what it was but they wouldn't even believe what wsa printed in the Invoice. They lay their argument on the banner that says "Don't Drip and Drive" on the box and from there concluded that it was some kind of exotic and expensive car part. After customs I was charged VAT, Value Added Tax, of 4000 pesos, that's about $90. My atty ended up costing me around $300. The funny thing is based on their computation the atty is worth more than $1000.

Where Can I Find The Actual "mod" Part For A Vamo W/out Battery?

I have been having an issue where when I screw in any kind of tank, my vamo 4 reads "SHORT" and "LOW LOAD." I have made really nice coils to no avail. Someone at a store told me to just turn up the voltage - worked for a bit but then didn't.

Someone on here, when I posted about it, said to get something to wiggle the pin out a mm or two because it has been "crushed" with the insulator. Did that. Worked for a bit, back to SHORT and LOW LOAD.

SO, I need to buy a new one. I have a few different pv's, but this is a favorite because of its variable voltage. Is there a place (online) where I can buy just the piece I need? Attached is a pic of the faulty hardware...

Gluing Glass To Metal. First Gen Kanger Protank.

I figured this would be the Second best place to put this question but the other forum doesn't produce any replies. So I posted it here. Simple answer if you know what to use to glue glass to metal and will be non toxic!

On to the question, I have a first generation Kanger Protank where the body, glass bit, is glued to the bottom metal piece that screws into the Skirted piece of an eGo battery adaptor. One friend was using the glass piece to screw the Protank onto and off of her mod and to refill the ejuice. Short story shorter she popped the glass piece of the first gen Protank.

Big question part, what type of adhesive should I use to "GLUE" the Glass to the bottom metal Piece. Something that is non toxic and will survive the repeated stresses of day to day use that a Protank would encounter?

Thank you for your understanding, Moderator's, the Cross Post.

1000'th Post, And A Thank You!

This message will be my 1000'th post. I wanted it to be a thank you to all of ECF.. from the Lurking stage, to the helping others, it has all been a great experience. I'm not one for forums, but something about the vaping community kept me coming back here. I am proud to be a part of it, and glad I can help people in return.

To all that read this.. (unless you're a spammer)..... thank you.

"long Time" Since Ive Ben Here. Hopefully This Thread Even Posts...

Had issues with members and moderators years ago for idr what problems. "Banned" from creating a thread and replying to 2/3 I was active in...

Im currious way years later.... how many own and use the "new" billet box rv4 clone(s)? Also the bridges, and what is your "favorite" configuration of bridges plus build?...

I have both sxk clones, 60dna and 70w sku chipset. As far as bridges, the exocet is the only thing to seem worth while... even after all the new bridges afterwards...

Edit: just seen there is no longer a link to the ECF chat.....
maybe thats why it's dead without rbot.
