Does Nicotine Only Cause Problems Long Term?

I had a mole removed which im not concerned about it healing, just the scar part that concerns me bc I know nicotine doesnt do good with scars.

Anyways...

I havent vaped nicotine in 2 weeks and originally vaped 30mg nic salts, but im losing my mind and im about to cave.

Do you guys think if i just vaped 1 day, that it wouldnt slow down my healing process?

So basically 2 weeks no nic, then 1 day vape nic, then 2 weeks off again?

A Herniated Disc- Nicotine, And ,trying To Go Down??..

Hi everyone,
a question. At the moment I have a herniated disc. I have been going for spinal decompression, and physical therapy and they appear to be helping a bit.
Here is my dilemma. They say that nicotine is really bad for this and the disc healing .And of course it is very bad long-term for discs in general.

I always Vape 18 mg on my joy Tech ego one with 1.0 atomizer .
At the moment, I do not want to drop down to 0mg completely cold turkey. Vaping is one of few things that gives me pleasure now while I have to deal this pain.
My question is this. I just bought a 6 mg. In theory, if i vaped exactly as much as I normally do, let's say 120, 3 second hits a day .. I would now be reducing my nicotine intake by about 66% or so. Is that correct?
Which at least is a start, i guess

Vaping Zero Nic, Plain Vg Before And After Surgery

Hi fam. Have a surgery coming up in 25 days and I typically vape 3 mg flavored juice. In preparation for the surgery, at the advice of my surgeon and from doing online research, I understand I need to stop inhaling nicotine now. Nicotine in any form messes with the healing process, and I don't want to compromise the process in any way.

I think I can give up the nic (and the flavoring as well), especially since my usual nic level is so low, but I am missing the inhale-exhale piece.

Anyone have any experience vaping plain VG with zero nic prior to, and post-surgery? Is there any danger in inhaling pure VG with respect to surgical outcomes and healing?

0mg Nicotine

Hello! So, for whatever reason, pre-employment nicotine testing is becoming a thing in my field. I use 6 mg juice, so I'm just going to switch to 0 mg. Everything I've read says 2 weeks should be good to pass the test. My question is, how much residual nicotine will be left in the vape from previously using 6 mg? I took it apart and cleaned it.... Is that sufficient? Or am I still consuming enough nicotine to fail a test?
Thanks!!

Best Vendor For Pure Nicotine Liquid And A Few Other Questions

Hi,

Unfortunately they are about to ban nicotine E juice in my country in 6 months time. I was stocking up on my regular E juice but this is not really a long term feasible solution.

Luckily I vape unflavoured, so I figure it shouldn't be too hard to make myself.

I had a bit of a look around and found liquid nicotine, up to 250mg/ml, or nicotine salts, both USP, whatever that means.

Just wondering what the best nicotine product would be for long term storage and quality. If someone could recommend a vendor and product that would be great. I normally vape 70/30 pg juice from Heather's heavenly vapes.

I would prefer a liquid than a salt unless there is a big difference in shelf life.

Thanks for your advice

Strong Taste Of Nicotine In 3mg/ml?

Ive always vaped juices with 3mg Nic and have never been bothered by the taste of it. Now, a couple of weeks ago i quit smoking cigarettes and picked up my vapes again and orderes some new juices as well.

the problem is I get a strong and "peppery" taste of the nicotine and it feel like im vaping like 9mg juices. It really bothers me since I dont get the most flavour out of my juices.

Has someone experienced the same thing? what is going on? i bought 4 differens e-juices and there regular nic in 2 of them and salt nic-shots (for shortfills) in the other 2. they all taste the same in regards to that awful taste.

lets face it, im addicted to nicotine. i will eventually start vaping 0mg but if i do that right now, im afraid i will go back to the cancer-sticks

Ml Per Day Question

I have always vaped anywhere between 15-20mls of juice a day. Three weeks ago I finally convinced my brother to switch from cigs to a mesh tank vape kit. He vapes anywhere between 45-55mls of juice per day. Should I be concerned about it? He is doing fine, bit it seems like a bit much. What do you guys think?

Any Non-smokers Have Testimonies About Vaping 0 Nicotine?

I simply just want to hear from people who have not smoked cigarettes and began vaping 0 nic. Please do not lecture me on why you think I shouldn't start. I have done my research (and actually have vaped e-cigs before so I know what it feels like) and would just like to know that there are others in the same boat as me. I enjoy the variety of flavors to choose from and getting to create vapor without the addiction of nicotine. Once again, I will not vape with nicotine.

Thank you!

Lung Hits At 6mg-12mg Or Mouth To Lung At 30mg - Why Such Big Diff. ?

Hey all,

I've always vaped a high nic concentration. Probably since I started in somewhat of the early days 6 years ago at least and the equipment sucked so the high nic levels kinda offset the equipment. Vape 30mg.

I recently got an atty with a big airhole so I was able to go sub ohm at like
.5ohm at 20-30 watts at my normal 30mg+ nic. Holy **** - it kicked my ***!!! I had to drank a gallon of water after 1 in a half hits.

Do any of you guys notice such a big difference in nicotine amounts when switching vaping styles. When I mouth to lung I only take in maybe a quarter of the actual vapor that's produced- but I use like 30mg+ of nic. But I really like the throat hit the high nic amounts provide.

What are your experiences ? Am I crazy with having to use 30mg+ for my normal mouth to lung vaping style.

Vaping And Life Insurance

I have a 20 year term policy that has hit the halfway mark and per the policy, my premium went up a fair bit. So I approached a friend of mine who is an agent for New York Life to see what he might be able to do for me. He asked me if I was still vaping and I told him yes. He said the insurance companies have lumped all nicotine delivery systems together. He gave me two quotes. The nicotine user quote was double the non-nicotine user quote. He said if I could quit vaping for three weeks, to get it out of my system I could get the testing and get the non-nicotine rate.

Not sure I can do that.

Maybe I could try vaping zero nic...I don't know. Maybe I'll just stick with the policy I already have.

Anyone Down To 0% Nicotine?

Hi All! Sorry if this is long. This place is a lifesaver. I was a 30 year PAD smoker. Tried all the recommendations to quit. Resigned to smoking forever. I heard of vaping in 2013 and found this site. The day my Ego arrived in the mail on April 15, 2013, I put down the cigs and haven’t had a puff since that day. (I still smoke in my dreams every night.) I started out at 18 mg, and went up to 24 for a while. I vaped way higher nicotine than my cigs had, and much more often. I even took my Ego pen to bed and put it under my pillow to use through the night. No matter how much Nicotine I inhaled, I still went through the same withdrawals that I did when quitting cold turkey, or the gum, or the patch, or setting a timer between smokes. It was obvious I wasn’t withdrawing from nicotine. It’s from whatever chemicals are in the cigarettes.

Over the last 7 years, I’ve gone down from 18mg, to 12, to 6, and now 3. Not by choice. I was happy at 18. I started getting lightheaded, so stepped down the nicotine in levels. Not because I wanted less nicotine, but because my body couldn’t handle it. I’m now at 3mg, and starting to getting lightheaded from it. Next step is 0mg. I’ve no problem going to no nicotine, but after so long, I can’t imagine not having the inhale/exhale/hand to mouth repetition.

Has anyone gotten to 0mg and still vapes, or have you broken the habit?
