Epilepsy And Vaping?

Hello good folks of ECF, I'm having a bit of an issue finding out Epilepsy and Vaping.

What I'm trying to find out is if anyone has any experience with at all?

As I'm finding some information that Propylene Glycol can aggravate Epilepsy and increase fits, so I just need to find out more information from the community.

As at worst I'm thinking that 100% VG liquids and flavourings would have to be used?

And thank you folks in advance, as this is an unusual question. But a very valid one.

Hopefully folks will be able to give some insight into this and help create a useful thread.

Please, don’t be fooled by the old folks in the title. The range of vaping experience and gear spans a wide gap. We’ve got folks content with basic setups using carto tanks and we’ve got folks using temp control mods and the latest RDA/RBAs.

So if you’re just starting out or your more experienced this is the place to be for us older folks. You got a question - we’ve got an answer or three. (And we good at spending other people’s money - so be forewarned). So pull up a rocker and make yourself at home.

And - oh, oh, oh - there’s no age limited or checking done here. Most of us can’t see good enough to read your legal id anyway. The only age criteria is that today your a day older than yesterday.

I going to ‘prime the porch’ with a few posts from the early days. It’s fun to look back just a few years and see not only where we where but were the state of vaping was w/ respect to equipment.

Need Help Finding An Apv That Works With Nautilus Tank

Hi, folks. I've been vaping since 2009 and certainly went through years of trying new devices (Anybody remember the Screwdriver?) But I stopped keeping up with new products and technology once I found a set-up that worked for me.
I use an original Aspire Nautilus 5ml tank with BVC 1.8 or 1.6 coils and flavorless liquid that I mix myself. I've been powering the tank with variable voltage batteries such as the Spinner 2 or, more recently, the Kangor Evod VV 1600 mah. Both the tanks and those batteries have become increasingly harder to find.
Have to say, after the Screwdriver, I was never interested in getting another device with an external battery. But as we all prepare for the (senseless) demise of the on-line vaping industry, I've been trying to quickly learn about regulated mods. I need something safe and reliable that will take an external rechargeable 18650 battery and will also fit my Nautilus tank.
I know the technology has advanced light years. Frankly, all the info out there is pretty overwhelming.
I don't need a lot of power or tons of vapor. I tend to stay between 3.2-3.4 volts with the airflow on the tank wide open. I'm most concerned about quality since buying mistakes will soon be harder to remedy. (Some of the worst products I've purchased-- with the highest price tags-- were from local vape shops.)
Any suggestions for an APV from folks who also use the larger Aspire tank?
Thanks.

Browsing In The New Members Section

I was just in the "New Members Forum" and come to realize how much I don't know about vaping. Good God, some of these "newbies" are way more advanced than I am. When I joined ECF just a few months ago, folks were still posting questions about EGOs and cig alikes. Now there asking about coil builds and mods, and concerned about blowing clouds. Guess I'm just one of the Old folks on the front porch....

Propylene Glycol-the New Villain Of The Day-

Posted again due to my mouth-breather mistake (I just call it PG)-

I just saw a shill doc on a shill news station slamming vaping with bogus claims that went unquestioned by the IQ deprived talking head. The "doc" was naming propylene glycol as though it were a health hazard, probably because the name scares people.

I'm telling everyone I know that this hit on vaping is exactly that- an orchestrated Hit. This PG thing's going to come up sooner or later. I'm wondering if any here have more info on what PG is and if there's ANY health hazard to it. I want to have all the facts I can ready.

Thanks.

Tinidazole Antibiotic And Propylene Glycol

I have just had a root canal on a tooth and was prescribed Tinidazole Antibiotic tablets.
Being the paranoid person I am with any drug I did a search for known side effects.
Alcohol is the big no no for the first 72 hours after finishing taking the course the other being Propylene glycol

I just thought I would post it just in case anyone else is prescribed these tablets and vapes juice containing Propylene glycol. I did vape and had no issues other than my awful tooth pain but I have posted the link below for anyone interested. Well slightly.

Some Of The More Influential Vaping Org Should Publish Simple Pamphlet To Be Handed Out By B&m And Other Vaping Outlet.

it seems like lot of information regarding how to use mod safely is not available to general public. i keep hearing people blowing up their mod and getting hurt. i'm sure pamphlet with safe use of mod and other information won't completely prevent accidents, but it should cut down on the problems.

when i started thinking about vaping, it was almost impossible to find simple information to use the mod. nothing really out there unless you start digging into forums and other resources to get the idea of what need to be done.

lot of general public who are interested in vaping won't try to dig into what will need to be done. they will buy stuff, put them together in some sort of fashion and will be disappointed or blow themselves up.

why not make some simple tri-fold pamphlet and have the B&M and online outlet to send out with every order? with big warning "READ THIS FIRST OR YOU MIGHT LOSE FINGER OR TWO OR AN EYE OR TWO".

Free Diy In The Northwest Burbs Of Chicago - Good Stuff To Give Away

I'm in the NW burbs and will stop vaping completely when I move to my new place. The folks here offered a lot to me when I started and I'd like to give back.

If you DIY and live close by I have a lot of flavors and PG/VG that I would like to get into the hands of someone that will use it. I will not ship so please don't ask.

First come first serve based on the PM's I receive.

Moderators, if I put this in the wrong place please move it.

Vaping Documentary Anyone...

Someone needs to produce a detailed documentary about the documented research about how safe vaping is. Hopefully that will give the general public as well as potential new vapers some education about what is safe and what isn't.

The contaminated products that are circulating on the black market are what's killing people.

Something of this magnitude needs to be put out in the media otherwise I'm afraid that this industry will die out and a lot of shops will go out of business. It's time to take action, the media has demonized vaping. It's come to a point where most folks can't vape in public in peace.

What are your thoughts on how to combat this issue? It's terrible what has happened to everyone that has been sickened or died as a result of vaping bad products. The CDC and FDA can't seem to get a handle on what's really the culprit and the media isn't giving us any details.

I feel perfectly fine as I've been vaping for almost 10 years now and I feel great in fact never better since I quit smoking cigarettes. Now I'm a bit paranoid and wonder if I should just give up vaping. This whole this is getting to me and I can't even vape around my family in peace now.
