Bought Some Coffin Nails

Driven by an almost irresistible force, I got a pack of camel non-filters after a year of vaping just to remember the taste. I couldn't believe how NASTY it was. Tasted like a pile of burning newspaper (NY times like). They were a little stale, but still NASTY. Now I know. Back to Squonking on the flavors I can't buy anymore thanks to the FDA. My fingers still stank after multiple scrubbings to boot. (insert steaming pile emoticon here)

How Does Vaping Actually Change The Taste Of Analogs?

Seen it mentioned over and over here that after vaping for a variable period
of time analogs start tasting 'nasty' to many (most?) people. Happened with
my father in law after about two months. Has not yet happened with a coworker
who vapes and still smokes. Think he has vaped over a year total and at
least four months with a proper rig.

So, exactly how can vaping while quitting change the taste of cigarettes when
cold turkey or the patch do not? At least they did not in the past, wife and
I quit and started back at least four times each before we finally
succeeded. Final time was almost six years ago so we were well before the
fire retardant / carpet glue was added.

Anyone quit and restart via vaping both before and after fire retardant was
added? Was the nasty taste absent back then or less pronounced?

Curious to hear from from anyone who has quit and restarted with different
methods and how the taste differs. Have read that Chantix and similar also
can cause a nasty taste. Is it the same as from vaping or different?

Never seen or found a thread devoted to this so though I would start one.

I Am Tired Of Vaping The Same Two Nasty Tobacco Flavors.

I quit smoking and I am not going back, but vaping tastes nasty now. The government messed people over

Has Anyone Tried A Cigarette?

I think my curiosity is killing me. I haven't had a cig since the day I bought my ecig. Do they taste horrible now? I'm so curious to see "how bad they are" to confirm I'm never wanna go back and they're nasty BUT I'm scared I'll go back to my old ways if I try one.

3rd Month Analog Free, Struggling And Need Help.

Hey guys!

Couple different issues here. I bought an e-cig on a whim, and a couple days later was analog free. That was going on three months ago. First week was tough, after that was easy. The pride of being an ex-smoker was enough motivation to stick with the vapes. Of course, I upgraded in equipment quickly and primarily vape RDA's through a sigeili 150 that I usually use between 50-70 watts with the rda, less with an atlantis or subtank mini.

The issues began a few weeks ago. Out of nowhere, my taste buds changed. My "set" flavors all of a sudden started becoming very harsh and awful. Changing to a different flavor from a different vendor (also went from 3mg to 6) seemed to help a little. After getting used to the new stuff, the old stuff I had tasted a little better too....though I cut one flavor down about 50/50 with straight VG (I typically use a max vg or 70vg 30pg mix). I vape 10-15ml per day.

The second issue is, even with all of this equipment producing massive vapor, it still doesn't seem to scratch the itch. I've been depressed lately, a lot. I crave analogs like there's no tomorrow. I feel like I no longer have any pride or motivation to be a non-smoker. I was actually getting up to go get a pack yesterday since in my mind I couldn't come up with a good reason not to......until I thought of my 2.5 year old son and decided not to for him.

So my questions a
-Did my taste buds literally change overnight like that????? Different flavors, different tanks, different RDA's, different batteries....they all tasted bad.
-Why the hell would the demons of addiction decide to start attacking in the third month when the previous urges were quickly passing?

Help!

Done With Tobacco For Sure!

Today I decided to smoke just out of curiousity, (haven't touched a ciggy since the end of march) I thought it sounded like a good idea. Went in the bathroom and stood under the exhaust fan (in the shower lol) and lit one up. Blegh! Took about 3 puffs and threw it in the toilet. Never again. Tasted horrid, no nicotine buzz, and even after showering snd changing clothes I swear I could still smell it. I quickly took a hit from my Istick 30/Subtank nano, and still tasted like crap. Brushed my teeth and could still taste nasty smoke all day long. I don't know for sure if I'll continue to vape long term, but will definitely never smoke again, even the few I smoked before (a few a week). I don't know how smokers that haven't yet discovered vaping do it.

Is It Better To Vape Low Nic And Nasty Vapes To Regulate Off Smoking?

Called up my local vape shops. Both had no flavored e-juice. So, my opinions are tobacco or menthol.

Everybody is different. I knew a guy who stopped smoking with nasty cigars.

9 Days Down, Forever To Go (& Bf Steals My Vape)

I've tried to quit smoking using vape stuff many times over the last two years or so. I've made it two weeks twice and otherwise have not made it long enough to remember. I had a dream last night that I was vaping. When I woke up I got excited about that (that I wasn't smoking in the dream). I went back to bed and woke up this morning in the middle of a dream that I was smoking. Ahk!

I know that I cannot ever have another puff if I want this to work. There is a thread about how gross smoking tastes after vaping. It's true that for me, smoking is sort of gross and leaves a nasty taste in my mouth, but clearly I like it no matter how disgusting it is.

Around February, my boyfriend said he wanted to quit smoking in the spring. We quit on the same day (last Monday). He uses nicotine gum and I have my vaping. He enjoys taking a puff off my equipment. But a "puff" has turned into about as much as I use it. Last Saturday he said he only had one piece of nicotine gum because he vaped most of the time. I'm trying not to be annoyed, but it kind of irritates me a little. Mostly because I chain-vape and don't want him to take it from me. A few days ago, I noticed he kept adjusting the voltage and handing it back to me without changing it back to where I had it! I made sure he stopped doing that.

Last night he asked me what stuff I buy (the battery, clearomizers and liquid- sorry, I don't know the correct terminology for everything). He was reading up on vaping. I am hoping he's considering buying his own stuff.

I'm thrilled that he quit smoking and want to be supportive of him regardless of how he does it but I sort of want to say, "get your own!"

What Would You Choose?

Hey guys my name is Brian and I'm a new member. I was an avid vaper from 2014-2017, but I went back to smoking nasty cancer sticks and came back to vaping in January of this year. I picked up a Smok RPM80 and it's not a bad pod system setup, but I want to get back into sub ohm vaping and after extensive research I have come down to 3 top contenders and I want to know which of these 3 options you would pick. Also of anyone owns any of these three vape kits can you please let me know what you think of them. 1. Freemax Maxus 100W w/ MaxLuke Tank 2. Geekvape Aegis Max 100W w/ Zeus sub ohm tank 3. Vapresso Gen S w/ NRG-S Tank. Please let me know what you would go with!/.

Thank,
Brian M

Fell Off The Wagon

I quit for about a year and started to smoke one of my wife's cigarettes once in a while. Then it turned into once a week, then once a day, then twice a day, then I went and bought a pack, then went up to over a pack a day.

I think it's because I lowered my nic level, because it started happening shortly after that. I recently raised it back up, and have been weeping myself back off the cigarettes again. I'm down to less than a pack a day now.

I did it before so I can do it again.
